7/14/05 — Web Weaver
Anthony
Foreman was 13 when he found his career.
Foreman,
who is now 20, runs a Web page design business.
Seven years ago his company, 4Mstudios, was
founded with the computer his parents gave
him.
He
soon taught himself how to build a Web site.
Foreman says he wanted to do what others were
doing on the Internet. His first site was a
fan site for a favorite TV show.
A
year later, Foreman was asked to build a Web
site for an online PC retail company based
in Wisconsin. From there, his business has
blossomed. He now has clients across Oklahoma,
in the U.S. and Canada.
Foreman
has done two projects for the Town of Velma
including building a Web site and creating
a database for the town cemetery.
While
he’s a young computer wizard, Foreman
has also done a lot of things that young men
have to do early in their worklife. To supplement
his income while learning his trade, he worked
at Carmike Theaters. He finished high school
while working and graduated from Comanche High
School in 2004.
He’s
still blending education and his career. While
working full time on his growing business,
he attends Cameron University, majoring in
communications with an emphasis on Radio/TV.
Along
with his design work, he has done commercials
for businesses such as MedTech and Family Cars & Trucks.
Tabitha
Beranek of Family Cars & Trucks said he
did a great job for them.
He
also created the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center’s
Stampede Trail.
Mike
Grantham of Don Grantham Funeral Home says
Foreman was recommended by a friend, and they
are pleased with the quality of the Web site
be created for them. Grantham is recommending
him to others and said he is very impressed
with the knowledge of such a young man.
Foreman
was contacted last year by Jason Smith, who
runs a consulting business, and Foreman took
over a web hosting business, Outbackhost. Foreman
says he can now give his clients quality hosting
as well as design and maintenance.
4Mstudios
is a one-man business; with most work done
at his home, while also sharing space at Screenplay
T-Shirts Etc. Some of his services include
logo creation, business cards, T-shirt, photography
and digitizing, E Commerce.
Foreman
says it has been a lot of hard work, but wants
his business to grow and to be skilled in many
areas and that it is his continuous effort
to produce the best possible product for his
customers.
“The
client’s image is the business and I
take each job very seriously,” he said. “Hard
work is my most notable asset.”
